PLACING AN ORDER
You can place an order via the website, by email, or by phone. Once you've placed your order, we'll send you a confirmation email and we'll send you a second email when your ribbons have been dispatched. Goods can only be dispatched once payment has been made in full. We accept Mastercard, Visa, Maestro and Solo and payments are processed using PayPal's secure payment system.
You can also make an order by post. Simply make a list of the ribbons you wish to purchase, including details of the widths, colours and lengths you require. Be sure to include your name, address and a contact number. You can pay by cheque or we can ring you when your order is ready for dispatch and we can take card details. Cheques sh0uld be made payable to The Ribbon Shop. Our postal address is:

We send your ribbons via First Class Royal Mail, Royal Mail Special Delivery, Parcel Force or Royal Mail AirSure (for international orders).
Ordinarily, We aim to dispatch ribbons the same day via First Class Royal Mail. Where there is going to be a delay, we will do our best to get in touch with you to let you know. If your order is urgent, give us a ring on 0191 597 2892and we can advise you of estimated dispatch times. You can choose to have your orders sent by Next Day Delivery but, again, do get in touch if your order is urgent so we can confirm that your ribbons are in stock. Where orders are received late in the afternoon, we will do our best to dispatch them immediately but where this is not possible, they will be sent the following morning. Again, do get in touch if your order is urgent.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you provide us with the correct delivery address. Where an incorrect address is given, we reserve the right to charge for re-delivery.
FAULTY OR MISSING / INCORRECT ITEMS
If your items are faulty or incorrect in any way, then get in touch with us as soon as you can within 30 days so that we can put things right.
We will replace missing or faulty items immediately without further charge and do our best to rectify the situation as soon as possible.
If you're unsure which ribbon to choose, please make use of our free sampling service.
If you find your ribbons are unsuitable, then you are more than welcome to return them for a refund.
Please ensure they arrive with us in their original, saleable condition within 30 days and note that we're unable to refund any postage costs.
We recommend that you use tracked postage to return your ribbons to be certain they arrive safely.
PLEASE NOTE THAT CUT LENGTHS OF RIBBON & BESPOKE ORDERS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE UNLESS FAULTY.
We do our best to make sure the photos on our website are as true as possible but we are very happy to send samples as we understand that all monitors vary and it's important to get exactly the ribbon you want.
Ordinarily, we send five samples free of charge but do get in touch with us if you have a particular need and we'll try to help.
We are also very happy to provide a colour-matching service. You can send us a swatch of the colour you're trying to match or a Pantone number and we'll send you samples of our closest matches. If it's urgent, we can make suggestions by phone / email if you email us an image.
We like to send samples out as quickly as possible, usually the same day by First Class Royal Mail, so you shouldn't have long to wait.

We do our best to ensure that all product descriptions and specifications are as accurate as possible but do not accept responsibility for any errors or omissions. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. In the unlikely event of a product being mis-priced, we will contact you as soon as possible to inform you of the correct price. You are under no obligation to continue with your order.

DISCOUNTS FOR BULK ORDERS
Discounts for bulk orders are made on a case-by-case basis.
We're experiencing postal delays due to very necessary social distancing and are finding that First Class Post can take a few days to be delivered so we'd advise Next Day Delivery if your order is urgent.
