HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?
You can use the website to browse our ribbons and make your selection. We've placed them in popular categories to make them easy to find, or you can make our selection according to colour. Most ribbons are available in a range of widths and can be bought by the metre or roll so you'll need to make your selections before adding to your basket. Once you've made your selection, click Add To Basket, and your ribbons will automatically be added to your Shopping Basket. You can view this at any time by clicking the bag icon at the top of the page. You can amend quantities or delete ribbons from your basket. When you've finished shopping, view your basket then click Go To Checkout. You will automatically be directed to our secure payment system.  
We take payments via PayPal but you don't need a PayPal account - you can enter your card details at checkout. We accept Visa and Mastercard, and we can take card payments by phone. Please be sure to check the correct delivery address is entered. If in doubt, give us a call. 
 
We can also take orders by phone on 0191 597 2892. We're always happy to give advice and guidance about our products and services to help you to make your choice. 
Additionally, you can order by post, or you can send us an email at contact@theribbonshop.co.uk, and you can pay by cheque or by card.
(We can call you for card details when we're about to dispatch your order). Be sure to include a telephone number.

CAN I AMEND OR CANCEL AN ORDER?
You are welcome to amend or cancel an order right up to the point when it's sent out. Do get in touch with us quickly as we like to send out orders immediately. The quickest way to contact us is by phone on 0191 597 2892
Unfortunately, we can't cancel an order once it's been dispatched but you are welcome to return it using our Returns procedure. 
WHEN WILL MY RIBBONS ARRIVE?
Almost all of our ribbons are held in stock  and we like to dispatch your ribbons the same day. We send our ribbons by First Class Royal Mail so they should arrive quickly, often the next day. We will send you an email as soon as your ribbons are dispatched.
 
You can also opt for Next Day Delivery. If it's late in the afternoon, give us a call to be sure we have your ribbon in stock and can send it immediately, We will send you an email with a tracking number as soon as your ribbons are dispatched. 
 
For larger quantities, there may be a delay of a few days while we order additional stock. We always aim to contact you to let you know if you may have to wait. If your order is urgent, give us a call and we'll be able to let you know if your ribbon is in stock and how quickly it can be dispatched.
 
DO YOU SEND SAMPLES?
Yes. We do our best to make sure the photos on our website are as true as possible but we are very happy to send samples as we understand it's important to get exactly the ribbon you want.
Ordinarily, we send five samples free of charge but do get in touch with us if you have a particular need and we'll try to help. 
We like to send samples out as quickly as possible, usually the same day by First Class Royal Mail, so you shouldn't have long to wait.

I DON'T SEE THE RIBBON I NEED - DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER RIBBONS?
Yes - hundreds! We're not able to photograph everything we've got (though we're working on it!) - so do please get in touch if there's a particular ribbon you need that you don't see. We have a number of suppliers and extensive experience of tracking-down ribbons so we can normally find what you're looking for.
 
I'M LOOKING FOR A PARTICULAR COLOUR - CAN YOU HELP?
Yes, we're very happy to help. We do our best to make sure the photos on our website are as true as possible but we are very happy to send samples as we understand it's important to get exactly the ribbon you want.  Ordinarily, we send five samples free of charge but do get in touch with us if you have a particular need and we'll try to help. 
We are also very happy to provide a colour-matching service. You can send us a swatch of the colour you're trying to match or a Pantone number and we'll send you samples of our closest matches. If it's urgent, we can make suggestions by phone / email  if you email us an image. 
We like to send samples out as quickly as possible, usually the same day by First Class Royal Mail, so you shouldn't have long to wait.

I NEED TO MATCH A PARTICULAR RIBBON - CAN YOU HELP?
Yes, we've got years of  experience of tracking-down ribbons. We've a number of suppliers within Europe and the USA so we can normally find something for you. Send us a sample if you can, or email us a photograph or a description and we'll do our best to help.
 
DO YOU PRINT RIBBON?
Yes, we can have ribbon printed with your logo, text or image on a range of ribbons with a number of different finishes. The minimum order is 500-1000 metres. See Customised Ribbon for further details or get in touch with us.

CAN I ORDER LARGE QUANTITIES OF RIBBON?
Yes, we like to keep at least 100 metres in stock of each of our ribbons but if you'd like to order larger quantities, give us a call on 0191 597 2892 or email us at contact@theribbonshop.co.uk and we can give you costings and estimated delivery times (usually a few days). 
 
DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS FOR BULK ORDERS?
We price our ribbons competitively but we can certainly offer special prices for bulk orders. Give us a call on 0191 597 2892 or email us at contact@theribbonshop.co.uk to discuss your requirements. 
 
CAN WE ORDER CUT LENGTHS OF RIBBON
Yes, we can offer a cutting service for large quantities of ribbon. These will be cut to your specifications and the ends will be sealed so they don't fray.
The ribbon can be cut with straight, mitred or swallow-tail ends and adhesive pads can be added.

CAN YOU MAKE BOWS?
Yes, we can have a range of different bow styles made to your specifications in many of our ribbons. Adhesive pads, straps, elastic and cable ties can be added for ease of use. Minimums apply.
